On holiday in Spain, London police officer Lawrence Jackson recognises absconded criminal turned informant Eddie Myers, now a wealthy art dealer under the pseudonym Phillip von Joel. Extradited back to England after a nerve-wracking Scotland Yard Operation, Myers agrees to tell what he knows — but only if Jackson is his interrogator.
