About

About Critic, Sir!

Our Mission

Critic, Sir! is a personal media journal built to track what you watch, play, and read across movies, TV, games, books, and comics. It keeps your lists, ratings, and reviews in one place — and supports optional public group lists — so your taste can evolve as your backlog grows.

Privacy policy (Google application)

Critic, Sir! offers Sign in with Google so you can use the site without creating a separate password. This integration is implemented with Google OAuth 2.0 and is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you sign in, Google may share with us the identifiers and profile fields you approve on the consent screen — for example your email address, name, and profile picture. We use this information only to:

  • Create and maintain your account and session.
  • Show your display name and avatar on your profile and in the app where relevant.
  • Operate core features tied to your account (lists, reviews, follows, and preferences).

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Google account data for advertising profiles unrelated to running Critic, Sir!, and we do not allow humans to read your Google data except as needed to provide support or comply with law.

Google’s processing of your data when you use Google Sign-In is described in Google’s Privacy Policy. You can review or revoke Critic, Sir!’s access to your Google account in your Google Account security settings.
