A Man Without Rank
A historical and biographical film about the life of M.V. Frunze. The film covers the period from 1915 to 1916. The film is dedicated to one of the most mysterious episodes in Mikhail Frunze’s life, when in 1915 he escaped from a transit prison. The gendarme officers failed to identify the dashing fugitive — a brilliant nobleman named Vasilenko — who, after the Civil War, became a dangerous opponent to the rising Joseph Stalin.
