Crossing the Line
Crossing the Line' is a realistic crime drama set in the border town of Narva, where cross-border smuggling is still part of everyday life. Recently returned to his hometown, patrol officer Paul Kriisa finds both his professional and personal life beginning to unravel after the sudden return of his teenage daughter, Emilia. Hoping to gain custody, Paul turns to his former classmate Maria, now working in the city administration. What starts as an innocent favour soon pulls him into an illegal network – one that becomes increasingly difficult to escape. A story about people standing at the final border – geographical, moral, and emotional.
