Shadows of Desire

Shen Qing Wu was once an ordinary woman who, by chance, entered the military camp. Through training, she grew into a heroic general, gaining loyal comrades and the guidance of her seniors. Determined to protect her country, she made peace her lifelong mission. During her service, she reunited with Zhang Xing Jian, a civil servant devoted to reforming the court, stabilizing prices, promoting agriculture and education, and supporting talented people from humble origins. Though they came from different paths, shared ideals brought them together. Side by side, they quelled rebellions, aided the weak, defeated corrupt officials and foreign enemies, broke class barriers, and ultimately found peace together.
