Zagan, who falls in love at first sight with the elf Nephilia at an auction and uses his entire fortune to buy her. The series focuses on the pair's awkward attempts to connect as Zagan, who is powerful but clueless in social situations, tries to express his feelings while Nephilia initially fears she'll be killed.
