Special Agent Jim Ellis is tasked with investigating the murder of a Secret Service employee in Hong Kong, whose body was found in a Welsh town. All leads lead to the Ivanhoe Hotel, owned by a certain Mrs. Corby, where the murdered woman was last seen. Ellis is faced with a host of suspects and a nasty knife-wielding killer. Further leads lead to the notorious Cardiff harbor district, the office of a shady real estate agent, and a lonely house in the woods called Blackwood Cottage...
