Mayumi Maruyama (Yurika Nakamura) is an OL, working in the sales department of company. She likes her work and doesn't mind working overtime. One day, she attends a new year’s meeting for the sales department at a restaurant and meets Osamu Teiji (Terunosuke Takezai), who happens to be at the restaurant. Osamu Teiji is a chief in the general affairs department at the same company where Mayumi Maruyama works. He is famous for leaving work on time at the company. Mayumi Maruyama gets into a fierce debate with him. But, they both get drunk and end up at a love motel together. After spending the night together, Mayumi Maruyama has feelings for Osamu Teiji. The next day, she bumps into Osamu Teiji in the elevator at work and he seems to blow off their encounter as a mistake.
