An adult coming-of-age story about Harper, a master's student, faced with an unplanned pregnancy. She decides to have her abortion in a small cottage resort town to keep it a secret from her family and friends. When her boyfriend decides that a golf trip with 'the guys' is more important than being with her, she must face her childhood playground in a new light. Faced with many broken promises, she soon comes to rely on the rental cottage owner's son to drive her to her appointment and to help her break free of the past.
