Staying Alive is a movie which is based on a true story of a reporter Aditya (Anant Mahadevan). When he experiences heart attack for the third time, he is sent to the intensive cardiac care at a hospital. But fate brings him on the neighboring bed of an underworld kingpin, Shaukat Ali (Saurabh Shukla). Actually it was his love of kebabs which had led him to experience his first heart attack. The 2 inmates of a hospital, who have opposite nature and opposite profession, strike a love-hate relationship with Aditya relaying a few truths about life to Shaukat. Shaukat gets thankful for the pleasure of staying alive even in a life underprivileged of kebabs. The end of the motion picture deals with life as it reveals for a man from the wrong side of the law trying to set things right...would he or would he not succeed? This comedy of black type is all about being thankful at the pleasure of just Staying Alive…
