The people of the village of Fruška Gora face wars and socioeconomic turmoils every few decades. This is the case now, in the so-called transitional period. In the surrounding area there is a huge hole full of water, and the fate of the people is somehow connected to it, as a result of the growing power of multinational companies that are expanding, bringing trouble and death. In contrast, and far from it all, an old woman spends her last days not knowing what fate has befallen her hometown.
