Young Marco, who shies away from women because of his mother's behavior—she sleeps with anyone and everyone to cope with the trauma of early widowhood—finds himself seduced by Anna and Eva, two enterprising women from Milan. A trivial accident resulting from a "game" with the two women causes Marco's mother to fall and hit her head; the incident restores her to "normality," leaving Marco with nothing to do but thank Anna and Eva for what happened.
