Focuses on Charlotte, the maid, who desires her host, Dr. Mario. Doctor doesn't show affection but it explodes in Charlotte. She spies on him when he is in his bedroom together with Claudia, Mario's fiance. By the way, Claudia isn't that innocent as she is into a romantic affair with Jean-Paul. Mario tells Charlotte he must leave for Africa, she crazves for going with him. Mario leaves alone, Claudia ends up marrying Jean-Paul. Charlotte explicits her desire in letters, though, in Claudia's name, to Mario, as she wants to comfort him. Once Mario returns home, Claudia is pregnant. It becomes clear that Charlotte is responsible for all the written letters that helped him survive in Africa.
