During winter break elementary school teacher Kyoko Uno gives supplemental lessons to her student Teppei, who is behind in school. Kyoko has an unusual bond with Teppei's mother Mie. Meanwhile, Kyoko's son Sanshiro is supposed to be at an overnight sports camp, but Kyoko finds out that he was caught shoplifting.
