Scientists Sam and Amy are moonlighting on a secret project to create a female robot … the ideal companion. While working together, Amy develops a secret crush on Sam, who cluelessly misses her hints. When their project starts nearing its end and he begins dating their cyborg, she reluctantly gives up hope. Only then does Sam recognize the errors of his ways and realizes that his ideal companion was there the whole time.
