Parapsychologist Henry Wingrave looks back at three of his most disturbing encounters with the haunted spirits of the dead as he decides whether to conduct a dangerous and forbidden type of séance in this Egyptian supernatural thriller. Though his clients call it a gift, Wingrave's ability to contact the dead may be more of a curse, as his frequent interaction with these sometimes angry souls is starting to affect his own.
