DirectorRodrigo Grota
“Today you see the flower. Be grateful to yesterday's seed.”
Mixing documentary and fictional elements, this short reconstructs the history of the Japanese immigrant, agriculturist and self-taught photographer Haruo Ohara. Taking root in Londrina, Brazil, at the end of the 1920s, he carefully recorded his time in his photography while he also continued to work as a rural producer.
