Life's Short. Wear the Sparkly Earrings.
In May 2015, Janet Edmonds was informed that despite two years of surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation, her stage-1 breast cancer had metastasized to stage-4. It was a devastating diagnosis, and one which thousands of women and men face every day. For Janet, the diagnosis was a harsh reminder that no one knows what lies ahead and that every day of your life is truly precious. Janet began sharing her thoughts and experiences with friends on social media, having chosen to cope publicly with her diagnosis with humour, optimism, and grace. This is a film about embracing life after a devastating medical diagnosis; of appreciating each day and living life to the fullest as much as you possibly can. Janet is a talented theatre and film actor who has delighted local audiences for more than 30 years.
