The story of a poor and struggling family, Pak Sudin and his wife Rahimah along with their five children Syukri, Safuan, Sarimah, Salwa and their youngest child Saiful who is 8 years old. Conflict begins when Pak Sudin sells Syukri to a married couple Suhaimi and Zaleha who live in the city due to financial hardship and Pak Sudin's fondness for gambling and accumulating debts.
