# The story follows Khalid Aziz, the son of a nasi kandar restaurant owner named Ali Khan. Khalid returns to Malaysia during Ramadan after completing his studies abroad. Khalid hopes to rest from concerns about marriage, which his mother Normala keeps pressuring him about by wanting to arrange his marriage with his own cousin. Normala also urges her only son to work under his uncle's company as an accountant, in line with Khalid's academic qualifications. Ali Khan, however, does not support his wife's demands because he wants to see Khalid inherit his nasi kandar business in the future, as it is a family business passed down through generations. Khalid decides to return to his father's hometown to ease the tension from his mother's pressure and interference from his cousin Shasha, who is trying to strengthen their relationship. Ali Khan understands his son's feelings and supports his actions. What matters to Ali Khan is to see Khalid inherit his restaurant business.
