The Ledger

After working at a factory for years, Cevdet finds himself facing a profound sense of emptiness upon retirement. In an attempt to cope with the uncertainty in his life, he clings tightly to his old factory routine and obsessively continues to record every detail around him in the "Ledger" he brought home from work. However, taking in his late neighbor’s dog introduces a new kind of chaos into his life—one that cannot be confined to the lines of a notebook or controlled. Although Cevdet tries to control the dog, its disobedient nature forces him to confront his own limitations.
