It tells the story of three Malay-English mixed-race girls: Amelia, Mary and Jane who grew up abroad and are unable to adapt after returning to Malaysia. Datuk Borhan, the father of the three girls, seeks help from Nek Mah to educate his daughters on how to interact with the village community. Nek Mah's arrival is received coldly by them. Since they lived together with Nek Mah, they learned many new things.
