The story revolves around Nora, a girl who marries an old man the same age as her mother. Various amusing family conflicts arise when their marriage does not receive the blessing of Nora's mother. Nora works at the Bam Boom beauty center. Due to pressure from those around her and her increasing age, she finally agrees to accept Pak Ali, a 70-year-old man, as her husband. Nora stands by her decision despite opposition from her mother Cik Semah, an herbal practitioner and traditional medicine maker. Eventually, Cik Semah is forced to accept that Pak Ali, whom she considered her number one enemy, is now her son-in-law. At the same time, Cik Semah feels awkward and uncomfortable when Pak Ali calls her "mak". In reality, it turns out that Cik Semah secretly has feelings for Pak Ali, who is also desired by Cik Nam, Cik Semah's best friend. This makes Cik Semah jealous of her daughter, especially when Cik Nam also mocks her. Then Jef appears, Nora's ex-boyfriend who tries to win Nora back.
