Penunggu Simpang

The year 1990, a road junction in a village named Kampung Simpang-Simpang is said to be haunted. The appearance of a guardian spirit known as the Penunggu Simpang. This Penunggu Simpang resembles a very beautiful woman with hair that reaches down to the ground. Her smile causes anyone who encounters her to become very frightened. Tok Ketua finishes telling a group of mischievous children who are riding their bikes 'lajak' style. Tok Ketua informs them that at this junction there is a guardian spirit. Whoever causes trouble will be bothered by the Penunggu Simpang. The mischievous children promise not to ride their bikes lajak style at that junction anymore. SUB PLOT – Tok Ketua has a son named Cikgu Norman. Norman is in love with Deana, the daughter of Hj Khair, a Resort Project Manager. Tok Ketua, however, does not like Deana because Deana once accidentally cursed Tok Ketua when Tok Ketua was hit by Deana's car. At that time, Deana had not yet met Cikgu Norman.
