# English Translation The story revolves around what happens behind the scenes of the Royal Malaysian Police force, exposing the dark side of certain officers who are willing to betray their trust by accepting bribes and becoming entangled in criminal activities. An Indonesian immigrant, Sugiman (Iman), is a single father plagued by nightmares filled with violence and blood. His son Joko, who doesn't listen, spends too much time with the unreliable Adi and his sister Sumiati runs away from her job as a housemaid because she wants to return to Indonesia. Sugiman asks for help from his employer, Sarip, a construction company boss and father to Adi, to arrange for his sister to board an illegal boat, but there is a price to be paid. At the same time, he must protect Sumiati from the police by hiding her in a cheap hotel. The hotel room next to his is rented by Rico, a Filipino fixer who is constantly pressured to send money to his mother.
