The story of the household of a university lecturer, Dr. Rosli Ibrahim. One day, Dr. Rosli is visited by a postgraduate student named Fairuz who registers as his supervisee. Fairuz is a beautiful girl, well-mannered, kind and intelligent. Her kindness and beauty become the topic of conversation among the university lecturers. Besides that, Iwan, another postgraduate student, is also very interested in Fairuz, but Fairuz befriends him only as a fellow student and nothing more. Meanwhile, Dr. Rosli's wife named Fatinah has been confirmed by the doctor to have stage four cervical cancer. Fatinah keeps her illness secret from her husband and her daughter Maya. Although previously Fatinah often taught her daughter to recite the Quran, now she feels tired and weak quickly. Because Fairuz is a graduate of Islamic Studies, Dr. Rosli asks Fairuz to teach Maya to recite the Quran. The kindness and affectionate attitude displayed by Fairuz makes Fatinah try to get her husband to marry Fairuz.
