
The story follows Sofea and Idham who have been married for almost three years, but have not had any children. Idham's mother, Datin Suraya begins to resent Sofea. Suddenly, their luck changes when Sofea is confirmed to be pregnant. Datin Suraya begins to accept Sofea again. Sofea is confirmed to be carrying twins. This delights Datin Suraya even more. When Sofea is eight months pregnant, Idham is forced to go abroad for two weeks due to work matters. Unexpectedly, Sofea goes into labour at that time. Tragedy strikes when one of her babies dies. The other survives but is confirmed to have Down syndrome. Datin Suraya cannot accept the presence of her granddaughter named Amanda. Sofea has been cast out by her mother-in-law, and during this time her husband Idham is involved in a car accident that causes him to lose his memory. Sofea has raised Amanda alone, facing many trials when her husband marries another woman because Idham does not remember that he was previously married.
