Everything seems to fall apart for Aufiya. On her wedding day, her fiancé Taufik fails to show up because he cannot accept Aufiya's past. Taufik's promise to accept her as she is turns out to be just a promise. However, Zarul appears and offers himself as a replacement to save her honor on that wedding day. Aufiya accepts Zarul's help despite feeling guilty because he is the fiancé of Wina, who is also her best friend. Aufiya is unable to tell even her close friends about this marriage because her husband is merely a borrowed substitute. A loan from a friend she has betrayed in secret. Aufiya's heart begins to waver between her husband and her beloved friend. Zarul's protective nature and acceptance of her as she is without any conditions begins to enchant her heart. But Wina is her best friend. Hurting Wina is like hurting her own heart. Aufiya has been close friends with Wina and Zureen since school days and they remain together even in their working lives and live together.
