# Translation The story tells of Miss Siti who has two close friends, namely Mawar and Teratai. Siti is in love with Awang, but unbeknownst to her, Mawar is also secretly in love with Awang. Teratai, who discovers this, advises Mawar not to betray her close friend. Then, Miss Siti's face is suddenly struck by a mysterious illness with the growth of severe acne. Her condition becomes so severe that the villagers call her a ghost and she is ostracized, insulted and mocked; eventually Awang even abandons her. Disappointed, Miss Siti befriends Nadim, a woodcutter who becomes her confidant. Mawar has instigated Miss Siti to go to Mount Panti to seek treatment from Nenek Kebayan, hoping that Awang will become hers. Miss Siti is determined to go seek treatment from Nenek Kebayan, despite her mother's prohibition. During Miss Siti's absence, Nadim tends to her mother day and night. Moved by Nadim's kindness, Miss Siti's mother promises that she will marry Nadim to Miss Siti.
