The story follows Aurora, a 19-year-old girl who is an illegitimate child and was raised in Europe by a non-Muslim family since childhood. Things change when she discovers her origins. Aurora feels deceived and attempts suicide. However, Khaliq's presence brings new light into her life and they travel to Malaysia to find her biological parents. Throughout her search, Aurora begins to wonder about the true meaning of Islam since she has not practiced Islamic teachings before. Meanwhile, Aurora's biological mother, Siti Zahrah, lives haunted by her past sins. As for her biological father, he is a renowned religious teacher, Ustaz Aariz, who is trying to escape from his past mistakes and refuses to acknowledge that Aurora is his biological daughter because he fears his reputation will be tarnished.
