A young man from the riverbanks flees desperately through the Amazon rainforest, escaping something unknown that terrifies him deeply, yet which he believes he understands quite well. The stalking force of this mysterious power closes in on him, while episodes from his life flash violently before his eyes in mental images. In a nocturnal, oppressive setting, heavy with the vastness of the forest, his imagination transports him to another rural space, parallel in time, which may be the cause of his downfall. What he loves most is his family, but he doesn't know exactly what price he must pay to control that love and control himself.
