
Mumi is part of Ōki's "Degi" series, a body of works that originated from a workshop held in Kagawa. Each installment was filmed annually over two ten-day periods—from August 21 to 31 and again from September 18 to 28—with the footage layered year after year as part of a ten-year production cycle.
