# Neelisa The story follows Amira, a village girl who marries Harris, a bachelor from a wealthy family, and lives as a devoted wife. Unfortunately, Harris remains extravagant and unfaithful. Amira's first miscarriage causes her to be disliked by Harris's mother, Mona, who only cares about status and position. Amira is frequently abused by Mona, but she is fortunate to have Harris's father, Mus, who is sympathetic to her suffering. Then, Amira's foster sister and close friend, Kirana, returns to Malaysia and begins a secret affair with Harris out of her old grudge against Amira. Syafiq, Amira's brother, has long harbored feelings for Kirana and hopes she will return his love. However, because of Kirana's secret relationship with Harris, Kirana completely ignores Syafiq's affections. Amira, still hopeful of becoming pregnant, grows suspicious of Harris when she discovers he often avoids intimacy with her and frequently comes home late.
