The Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Aziz Shokhakimov invites Anna Vinnitskaya, who won first prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2007, to perform Maurice Ravel’s Piano Concerto for the Left Hand. Ravel composed this virtuoso jazz-influenced work for pianist Paul Wittgenstein, who had lost his right arm in the First World War.
