On the night before her wedding to her fiancé, Nakagawa, Kyoko Kagawa is spending time with her high school teacher and close friends. The classmates who have gathered at Ms. Shimizu’s house were all beautiful, kind women who are genuinely happy for Kyoko. However, one person, Shigeko Yuri, can't bring herself to be happy for her. Before the war, Kyoko had a boyfriend named Takei, who lost his life in the war.
