It tells the story of Lara Sulaiman, a wise and dedicated teacher. After divorcing her husband, Lara tries to 'move on' and goes on a date with a surgeon who has recently lost his wife, Aiman Yusuf. They feel very comfortable with each other's presence. However, after meeting, the two of them have different stories about their dating experience. Lara accuses Aiman of raping her, while Aiman insists that he helped an unwell Lara get home safely. Who is telling the truth? 'Liar' witnesses the deception that could destroy the lives of Lara and Aiman, as well as their friends and families when secrets and lies are exposed.
