A Fighter Has Crashed
A family attempts to rescue the pilot from a Spitfire which crashes near their farmhouse, with help from a Home Guard man and a policeman. In their confusion and panic they inadvertently kill the pilot with an axe and set fire to the aircraft. Later in the pub, a helpful RAF officer explains the proper methods of gaining access to aircraft and of releasing the pilot from his equipment.
