In the war-torn Tan City, a female medical student ventures into the desolate and eerie ancestral mansion of the Yang family on the outskirts of the city to search for her twin sister. The mansion is empty and dilapidated. The strange-behaving landlady, the crazy landlord, and the elusive deaf-mute servant all make the place extremely eerie, sending shivers down her spine. Strange things happen frequently in the house. There are the eerie dolls that suddenly turn their heads, the terrifying nursery rhymes heard at night, the little girl who plays cat's cradle with herself in the shadows, and the long hair that quietly lands on her shoulder. Something seems to be calling her in the dark. She gradually realizes that her sister must have died here, and now she, who came in search of her blood relative, has become the landlady's next "prey" in the terrifying game.
