Documentary

Dutch professional groups present themselves in a long festive parade in the Olympic Stadium. A long procession of large and small industries, large and small companies, passes by Queen Wilhelmina, Princess Juliana, Prince Bernhard, and the little princesses Beatrix, Margriet, and Irene. “The Golden Coronation Fest” is the only color film ever made about the entire coronation celebration. Cinematographer Henk Alsem managed to get his own color camera into the crowd, right in the midst of the Polygoon cameramen. Ten days of celebration in color.
