The system makes students take classes they deem are necessary for 12 years during grade school in a repetitive cycle. Once said student has graduated they are often convinced college is the one and only way to progress in life. When enrolled in college the student must then take classes the system deems necessary once again. This time around paying outrageous prices for classes that may not even pertain to the student's major. If their bullshit system isn't completed the man who graduated will cut the legs out from under the failed student rendering them useless to society because they don't have a degree. They might be capable of the job but they didn't play the game the system's way, so the failed students are useless to the system hence no arms or legs.
