In the late Republican era, strange incidents occurred frequently in a mist-shrouded mountain village deep within Changbai Mountain. A villager named Chen Gouzi encountered a mysterious bride and took her in. Soon after, he suddenly became wealthy, only to die under bizarre circumstances. A series of deaths that followed plunged the village into fear. Veteran hunter Ma Sanye led the villagers in their search for the truth, navigating between supernatural rumors and the treachery of human hearts. As they dug deeper, hidden secrets and the tangled forces of good and evil in the mountain forest gradually came to light.
