A more mature film in both theme and treatment than his other animated works, and thus unsuitable for younger audiences, this is the story of a timid and troubled clerk, John B. Wormer, who is driven over the edge by mounting pressures and lashes out in blackly comic manner by grabbing an axe and reaping his revenge.
