Galiya, whose personal life did not work out, spent several years in South Korea, from where she regularly sent money to Kazakhstan to build her own house. When she returns to her native village for the housewarming, the woman reunites with her two brothers, sister, brother-in-law, and other relatives, who by that time have already grown accustomed to living in the new house and have no intention of leaving it. Even her unfaithful ex-husband shows up, trying by all means to win Galiya’s forgiveness. Because of the valuable property, disputes arise among family members, jealousy flares up, and old grievances resurface.
