A young mother and her toddler daughter, Leila, are going to the beach by boat. Their boat capsizes due to a falling tree, and the mother is killed. A young fisherman named Kami rescues the now blind Leila and takes her to his hut. Their hut burns down, and the boy and Leila go to Tehran. They get separated due to an accident, and years later, when Leila has become a famous singer and Kami a renowned musician, they run into each other. A young doctor, who is fond of Leila's voice, operates on her, and Leila regains her sight, but she doesn't recognize Kami, and Kami, who has a slight limp, hesitates to introduce himself to Leila. However, Leila recognizes Kami due to an accident, and they start a life together.
