That Was My Son
Huang Xishijin, a university student, lost his father at a young age. His mother, frugal and hardworking, supported him through university, hoping he would become a successful person. However, Huang became involved with bad friends and developed bad habits of extravagance and indulgence. During the summer vacation, Huang met the girl Bai Suzhi. They instantly fell in love. Bai also had feelings for Huang, but her true feelings were not shown. They had previously agreed to meet at Lizhi Bay. Huang was waiting with a necklace for Bai, but Bai had to cancel due to some reason. Huang was disappointed and returned home. On the way, he met the school beauty, Mi Jinghua. Huang was attracted by Mi's beauty and gave her the necklace as a symbol of his affection. Greedy and vain, Mi believed that Huang was from a wealthy family and spent lavishly.
