
The film tells the story of Kirman, a political prisoner exiled to Buru Island in the late 1960s. After years of trauma, he returns to his village, where he reconnects with his childhood friend, Warno. As Kirman struggles to move on from his painful past, he learns that letting go—especially of his lost love—is the key to healing and rebuilding his life.
