A colorful story about the outstanding Polish composer and violinist Grażyna Bacewicz (1909-69). The film documents the composer's life, work and artistic path in great detail. Shots were taken in Poland, Lithuania and France, using rich iconography and unique archival materials from the collections of TVP, WFD and the private archive of the composer's family. Wanda Bacewicz talks about her extremely talented sister. In addition, the film will include excerpts from anniversary concerts dedicated to the composer's memory, held recently at the PR Concert Studio in Warsaw.
