On her 64th birthday, Zoe, a lonely, widowed Cuban exile, is about to become a grandmother. She is also about to receive an unexpected visit. After more than forty years without seeing each other, Helena, her childhood best friend, returns to catch up and explore their lives through songs, letters, and memories from their past.
