Gela, the son of a widow, lives an unruly life with his friend, Tomi. When he meets Astrid on the street, a fight breaks out and someone is killed. Gela goes to jail, since Astrid is not allowed to give testimony by her father, though she knows exactly what happened. After his release, their relationship is continued and they fall in love with each other.
